There has been and will be a few genuine users who have been missed off the activation database list for Gatwick. Just email me http://www.uk2000scenery.com/main/support.htm if your activation fails. I know quite a few in April seamed to have gone wrong, while I was creating the database EDIT: I discovered the problem Emails with a 'DOT' before the '@' had the first part cut off. This has now been corrected

Hi Gary
The activation process to get the code after using Paypal doesn't seem to work at the moment - I've emailed you with details.
(Just thought you'd like to know......)
Toni.

Hi Gary: I emailed you with my activation problems for Bristol and Gatwick and my slightly bizarre and successful work-around.
It is a bit disconcerting to have big red letters saying a key code is not needed, fail to activate, then use the remote computer option (on the same computer), be assigned a keycode and have it activate with no further problems.
But the sceneries are awesome. Thanks

Of interest, I installed egkk for FSX last night and had a similar problem. Using "on this computer" I constantly received a failure message saying there was no internet connection. When I tried the "remote computer" button, activation was immediate.
Perhaps because my system uses an internet connection via a wireless link into a router?
BTW - great scenery as always and very frame rate friendly in SP1

If you get a connection problem, just start up IE before hand. The program runs and uses IE and most PCs will connect when it starts up.
IE is used in this way rather than a direct connection, because direct means firewall problems.

PLEASE HELPPPPP
Activation will still not accept me even though Gary has ensured me that my email address is on the database!
Please don't suggest I check I am putting in the right email address though... I know my email address.
I still cannot get the damn thing to accept me!!!
I used to have Gatwick Extreme on my pc but due to a reformat I needed to reinstal and reactivate... this is where my troubles started.
Anyone??? Gary's gone very quiet on the email side.

I do email every 24hours, I sent you an email 9.19am Monday GMT.
I sent an image showing me activating Gatwick using your email address, it clearly works in this image and I dotn see why it would not on your PC.
You could also use the code displayed in the screen shot directly, without an internet connection.
If you didn't get this email, then check your settings and spam filter, as it was certainly sent.
I've also added the 'googlemail' variation instead of Gmail to the activation list.
Here is a copy, but I had to take out the code and part of your email to protect you

Hi All.
To be honest, i have also experienced this problem, but to recap and start again, i have found that the first letter of your email address is put in twice but not displayed. So delete your address and re-type and then your code. Just a responce to situations i have experienced so if this is not the answer don,t jump down on me..
