Gary,

Having a quick try before buy....typical jock! Excellent, but my Scotflight terrain to the west of EGPH appears to have gone (fields etc) - replaced with, what looks like, default terrain.

Should I just reload my Scotflight software and see if that cures it? (Scunner if I have to, due to my edits for EGTH/PJ etc.)

Or shall I wait until any initial issues are resolved. (If it is a bug...)

The Scenery need to remove the MS default Grass 'slap' or base, the side effect is to remove any other VTP data in the same grid, this is probably the reason. So its not  a bug  and is needed by most.

Its should be easy to solve just remove file EGPH_VTP1.BGL file from the products scenery folder.

Is this for FS9 or FSX?

I have a file EGPHGeneral.bgl in my Scotflight Vol 1 folder but I can't say that I saw a problem during beta testing.

Just a thought could it be that Scotflight is below the Edinburgh scenery in the FS scenery list and should be above it.

In ScotFlight there is an incompatability with the UK2000 airfields in both FS9 and FSX. Placing the UK2K fields above ScotFlight in the scenery library has no effect.

If you look in the ScotFlight scenery folder you will see a number of files that are either named Glasgow or Edinburgh airport, or use the ICAO of EGPF or EGPH. Render all these files inactive by changing the postfix from .bgl to .bgx. There is no need to touch any of the other files for either Glagow or Edinburgh, including those for Glasgow Heliport.

Thanks Norman,
until reading this forum i have been getting random blackscreen for a long time,so reason for reinstall, ihad scott flight and prestwick and edinburugh extreme in previous install, So it looks like Prestwick and scottflight where causing this as so far with only EGPH extream installed i havnt had a problem, so will install Glassgow extream and leave well alone.

regards Richard.
