Take offs are optional. Landings are mandatory.

have you got any other Gatwicks installed? Also have you got the free edition at the top of the scenery library?

Hi Gary & Gareth

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer an "idiot" like me. I do like to test your sceneries because I would very much like to by som payware.

1.
No I don't have more than ONE Gatwick installed.

2.
Gatwick has priority 1 in the scenery list.

3.
I have attached 2 screenshots, as I don't know how to insert them in the posting.

Thank you very much again for your help.

Check that you have your scenery complexity slider at max.

Inspect your scenery library, turn all other addons off, then recheck

Also check the installed product scenery folder make sure you see these files

After that Im lost for any more ideas, apart from a serious fault in your FSX (reinstall)

Hi all

This is what I have been doing today with Gatwick FREE edition.

1.
I checked the scenery folder and the files that should be there, according to the posting, were there.

2.
I disabled ALL other sceneries and started Gatwick, but.... no change.

3.
I reinstalled FSX and NOT Addpac. Had NO other sceneries activated. Redownloaded Gatwick FREE, reinstalled and started... no change.

4.
I reinstalled Addpac, had NO other sceneries activated and started again.... no change.

5.
So I downloaded Edinburgh FREE and istalled it and................ it seems to work. At least the scenery is different from the standard FSX and the gates/terminal seems to be at the right place. I even had more choices to pick from when I wanted my starting position.

So it seems I just have to live without Gatwick on my computer.

Thanks a lot for your cooperation.

I have no answer for you, it works for everyone else, so I just don't know.
