Anyone having a problem using UK 2k Heathrow Pro and UT Europe. It shuts down my FS9 with fatal error on one of the modules, don't remember what it is. First problem, flying PSS B777 after doing an auto-land, i exited out of the runway...then FS9 quit with the error message to restart the sim. Second Problem, flying PSS B777, this time descending about 50 miles from EGLL, then FS9 quit with the error message to restart the sim. Didn't have this problem before, flying both PSS and PMDG products. It started when i bought UT Europe.
Please advise...
Thanks, Kin M. (Klax)

Gareth,
I'm sorry for not clarifying the problem. UT "Ultimate Terrain Europe". I don't have any Traffic payware installed on my FS9, just those standard FS9 traffic tools.
Is there anyone that has Ultimate Terrain Europe and using UK pro and their system is hanging up on or around EGLL?
Thanks, Kin M. (Klax)

Hi Kin,
I bought UT Europe then had to give it up. It played havoc with my photographic scenery and I also suffferecd CTDs.

Gareth,
Hey no worry.... I did couple of testing, when the problem occurs my FS9 is on full screen. Did a five hour flight from LLBG to EGLL and this time on window mode screen and put EGLL pro above the UT Europe on the scenery library. This time no error shutdown and landed with no problem till i taxi into the gate.
This good be the culprit...

Hi Kin,
The UT-Europe scenery can be considered as "base-level" scenery and can be placed well down the priority list.
On my system it is near the bottom, above the default regional scenery layers but below the default photoscenery airport layers and the Addon Scenery layer. Most addon scenery will thus be given higher priority.

Alastair,
Yeah....that UT Euro did it again.... I also have LFPG (payware) airport sceneries and that also hang my system on final approach. So i basically just put all my payware/freeware sceneries well above the UT Europe.
Thanks for all the inputs guys......... greetings from Los Angeles.

Hi Kin,
The easiest solution is to move the UT-Europe (and UT-USA and UT-Canada & Alaska if you have them) layers towards the bottom of your scenery list, rather than moving the individual sceneries above the Ultimate Terrain ones.
