Hello Norman.  09/05/08 -16,24.  47.1KB.    I'd just gone to post the stuff below when your request came in, so I'll include it all!!

What I mean was me talikng about Stansted & then there's Culdrose mixed in!

I'm using FS9.  I wasn't sure about slew (never done that!) & got the altitude from the altimeter & also at the top of my screen with shift & Z.   In the Auster I get 351.7 ft.  Of course - cockpit height!!  Silly me.

The concrete runway looks as if it's real.  It's the white markings that preceed the aircraft I'm in at the time, just as if it was a carpet being rolled up, but this effect stops at an altitude of about 500ft.   Exactly the reverse during landing happens which is even weirder.  It's not texture break through I'd say,as it the white marking that vanish & the runway looks perfect.

Gatwick by the way is a treat.  I had 45 odd WoAI aircraft there at around 1 today had 9 moving for their take-offs.   I just sat by the runway & watched   Cool   7 Ryanair were at Stansted too.

Well Norman.  Hovering the cursor over that AS2 file for the date certainly did the trick.   My runway markings are firmly in situ now at what-ever speed I take off - Auster or Tornado  Roll Eyes

ATB,
Terry.
