********Latest Update file can be downloaded here*********
http://www.uk2000scenery.net/files/egllxtremefs9_update.zip   V1.04

This update will ONLY work with the activated Heathrow Xtreme

***********************UPDATE HISTORY*******************
ADDITIONAL 03/11/2008  V1.01
The V1.0  scenery hight was set to 24.5Metres high, this caused a problem with the AFCAD files at 24.4M producing a 10CM step onto the runway and wheels look like they were in the ground slightly.

This has now been changed, scenery is now 24.4M. The new version is V1.01 You can either install the full thing again from the website, or use this smaller update

Now the slight problem. If you have UK2000 Heathrow Pro,  or the stand alone OLD Heathrow from 2001, uninstall it.

If you have UK2000 Part4 or London Airports then remove file
[FS9 location]\UK2000 part 4\scenery\egllVFR.bgl

If you have Just Flights British Airports Southeast then remove file
[FS9 location]\scenedb\BrArpt\SouthEast\scenery\egllVFR.bgl

The Heathrow Xtreme installer will also tell if you have these products installed, so this message will tell you if it applies to you.  If you fail to do this, then you will see a hight conflict and the ground may break up in front of you.

ADDITIONAL 04/11/2008  V1.02
Problem found with Heathrow Static aircraft models clashing with Gatwick Static models. So V1.02 solves this conflict. (use same link)

Also Installer now gives you the option to delete the U2000 Part4 'egllvfr.bgl' file instead of you doing it.

ADDITIONAL 06/11/2008   V1.03
Normans AFCAD changes added, and Stand 410 service fleet tanker no longer hits the fuel truck.

ADDITIONAL 08/11/2008   V1.04
Approach lights can be turned ON by day, select 117.95  on NAV2, Van half inside BA Hanger removed.

Thanks for the (very) swift fix  Grin

Isn't this what beta testers are for?  Huh

Its a complex thing Oliver.  The main concern at the time was compatibility with Part4 and Heathrow Pro, so it case of fixing one problem that produced another and was simple overlooked.

Oliver, I think that is a rather naive comment to be honest. It's a small problem that wasn't noticed in time. We have a timescale to keep to if the public is to get the product available on the stated release date. The BETA Testers have done a fantastic job with this testing phase and a wide range of problems were identified and solved before release. I know that the height's were tweaked a few times throughout the testing phase due to compatability issues etc. And generally to make the product as user-friendly as possible when installing over the top of previous versions of Heathrow. As with ANY product you'll come across in this industry, a small problem happened to be overlooked.

Ryan,
I think you are being a little unfair to Oliver. I don'think that his comment is in any way naive. The scenery height anomaly was the first thing that I noticed on running Heathrow Xtreme, although I can appreciate that the testers may have been overwhelmed by the otstanding quality of the scenery.
Well done Gary and all involved. This is so good that it nearly makes FS9 look as good as FSX. Well done everyone.

Rod.

I am adjusting the AFCADs to take account of the changes and also the one or two problems that users have found. New files will be made available in a day or so.

Watch this space.

The installer has told me regarding the conflict but I had already removed it and saved it to another location as a back up, does it need to be removed completely from the PC as it is not in the UK2000 folder

I get the conflict error also, but I believe that it could be due to some possibly faulty coding on the installers part  Wink

No egllvfr.bgl exists in the referenced folder, and I cannot see why FS would search for it anywhere else. (I actually deleted mine.)

The install only checks to see if Part4 is there and active.

Hi,

The "Download Update" link not working as at 11:50 UTC?

Does this mean a full reload is required?

Take offs are optional. Landings are mandatory.
