Any chance of an update to get the runway centreline lights aligned with the centreline markings?

There are no runway centre lights at Bristol, Chris. I think that you are referring to the exit lights, which are always offset on the side of the exit.

Norman,

Do these exit lights stretch unbroken from one end of the runway to the other?

Hi Chris,

Sorry, you are talking about Bristol Xtreme and I looked at Bristol. I will take a look at the lights and see what I can do.

Take offs are optional. Landings are mandatory.

hi all!

I'll take a picture of the runway at work later on this evening when its dark so as you can see what it's like at night. I must admit I thought it had centre-line lighting but I could be wrong.

I'll post the pic this eve.

Kind Regards

OK Chris, I see the problem. Will post a new AFD file in a day or so.

I have uploaded a new file to the AFCAD library, EGGD_afx_XTRM.bgl There is also a file named EGGD_afx_UK2x.bgl that you can put into your Bristol Xtreme options folder.

Thanks, Norman. I like my lines and stuff to be all neat and tidy, so this is greatly appreciated  Smiley I assume that the new file has been added to the "AFCAD files for Bristol Xtreme" package?

Norman,

Further to my post regarding the misalignment of the runway centreline lighting at Bristol Xtreme, I would like to highlight the situation with Gatwick Xtreme and Heathrow Xtreme. I have attached four screenshots (two of Gatwick at the runway 08R threshold, and two of Heathrow at the runway 27R threshold).

The first Gatwick screenshot shows that the runway lighting is perfectly aligned with the arrows pointing to the runway threshold. Unfortunately, the second screenshot shows that it is not aligned with the runway centreline. This is because the runway itself is misaligned with respect to those arrows short of the threshold. Can anything be done about this?

The first Heathrow screenshot shows that the lighting is slightly offset when compared with the runway markings, and that the runway centreline lighting is off by quite a margin. The second screenshot  shows that the runway edge lighting is also misaligned. The other runway suffers from a similar misalignment.

Since these are the Xtreme versions of both airports, I would hope that these misalignments can both be corrected.
