Are you using the xTRM AFD file. If so Flybee and Ryanair park at T1, unless all the gates are aleady full. The xTRM AFD file is activated when you choose designated parking in the options menu.

Have just looked in both FS9 and FSX Options and don't see any option for setting designated parking.

Hi Craig,

there are two distinct AFCAD files supplied with the product, one is for general use, and it has the suffix UK2x in the name and the other is one with mostly dedicated parking, for those who want it, and that has xTRM as the suffix. When you run the setup app you have a choice to select dedicated parking and if you choose this option then the xTRM file is moved to the scenery folder. If you do not select this option then the UK2x file is left in the scenery folder and parking is general.  You can change this at any time by running the options setup app, but as time goes by the AFCADs are updated and are downloadable from the AFCAD page of the UK2000 website. Therefore at any time simply download the latest files and place the one that you want to use in the product scenery folder. Just one thing to remember and that is to delete the AFCAD file that is presently there.

So, if you want to have designated parking you need to download the lates zip, unzip it, use the file af2_egbb_UK2xTRM, and delete any other af2 files that you may find in the Birmingham Xtreme scenery folder.

Hi, I am wanting to do the same- add designated parking at Birmingham, but I can't find the 'designated parking' option in setup options app. All I have is Animation, animation speed and install static aircraft. How do I get this option? I have installed the latest afcad file.

Hi Carlie,

Make sure that you have installed the af2_egbb_UK2xTRM AFCAD and deleted any other af2 fiel form the Birmingham Xtreme scenery folder.

Hi,
Where do you get that file from? The one I downloaded from the latest AFCAD part of the website for FSX is different to that.

Hi Charlie,

The "Latest Afcads" are not for the Xtreme airports, but for the old parts series. Download the files from the Birmingham Xtreme AFCAD zip, as these are always the latest files.

In fact, I think that I will get rid of that latest afcad zip, as they are all pretty old now.
