I dont know why that AI 737 is deciding that the airport is lower than that what it is. You could try some tests, I would remove the AFD file from the product and retest, yes the AI will not be in the correct places, but what about that 737 hight, is it correct when doing this?

I've managed to sort the problem. If you delete the AFCAD file of Heathrow that FSX comes with, it stops the sinking. Only other change is in the airport list when you are creating a flight it becomes London Heathrow instead of just Heathrow.

The only AFD file for EGLL that is included with FSX is in APX47130.bgl. If you delete this file, you will lose a lot more than EGLL  Roll Eyes

I did it and its fine, nothing else has disappeared. Its in one of the numbered folders in Scenery. Cant remember which one it was in but if you do search when your in Scenery for the file APX47130.bgl then Im sure you will be able to find it.

George is correct, if you remove APX47130 you will loose the data for nearly all the default airfields in England and the near continent. This file isn't the cause of your problem because the default height is the same as the Uk2000.

Try starting a flight at EGSB, Castle Mill  Wink

You have removed all of the stock airports in this area:

OK, I have found why the aircraft landing on 09L are sinking. There will be a new set of AFD files on the UK2000 web site AFCAD page by morning. Download the zip and copy both of the files to your Heathrow Xtreme\Options folder. Then copy the one you are currectly using to your Heathrow Xtreme\Scenery folder. Over write all files in both cases.

Norman

Edit: If you don't know which file you are using then look in the Heathrow Xtreme scenery folder and it will be the top file. By the way, this only affects the FSX version

New files are now uploaded. The ai were landing at the wrong height because the start location had the wrong height and that was because I had used the FS9 default height and not the FSX one.
