Hi,

Yesterday I flew for the first time to EGLL (FS2004) and during approach when the scenery loaded I got an OOM.
This is the first one in many years.
It is not necessarily caused by the EGGL v2 scenery, but I wonder if anyone else has experienced this.

What is a good method to pinpoint the cause of the OOM?
I already double checked scenery entries with an empty texture folder.

No one else has yet reported it(some users also got this with V1), but Heathrow contains a lot of scenery. For some time FS9 has been pushed to it limits with ever increasing amounts of complex details airport scenery and aircraft  maybe it combination effect with your other addons

We do get a few OOM reports with most airports at some time from some users, there is no consistent link, but most seam to be flying one of the high detail commercial aircraft addons. You can try reducing your scenery complexity slider to normal, this will half the amount of scenery loaded. Also turn off my animated scenery, this is particular demanding on FS9

I will also make available a reduced texture size option.

The problem is with each version of Heathrow it gets bigger and bigger, placing more demands on FS9 and FSX and users have to realize this cant continue for ever. Even my beta team were trying convince me to keep added more stuff, but I have to resist this or else these OOMs will become more common than now.

Roger, looking forward.
Like you suggested, I disabled the animated scenery (2 options) but I still had some cars driving around.
Is this correct?

Only yesterday I realised that London area on my system must be very demanding (memory wise),
because I also have London city installed (Visual Flight) + patched UTE + REX clouds.
Together with Wilcos 737, I guess it probably was inevitable I would get an OOM.
(Although I didn't had issues with AS London Heathrow)

The 'other' traffic is from the FSX 'traffic' system to remove them you need to turn off your FSX road traffic.

Some traffic may be fixed, please use the V2.1 Low options to reduce the scenery amount and also download and install the lower res images
