Forum hack/corruption

Some reason all users who have attempted to apply to use this forum have not been sent to the moderators for approval, Normally there is a 'waiting approval list' that shows new users who want to join. This list has been blank for while.

After someone finally bothered to email me as to why they were not approved, I investigated and managed get this list working again. We then saw a backlog of 69 new members awaiting approval.

I do find it strange that only 1 in 69 people thought about contacting me directly when there application got no where. Forums are constantly under attack from all sort of nasty bots and I suspect this was another one.
