As expected Dave Chapman has totally ignored my wishes and has released this "Stantex" thing

And yet again buyers are emailing me about there Stansted Xtreme no longer works!. Despite his claims, there is always some part of my work in these texture remakes, and I'm not convinced he has a licence for the aerial image either. Dave if you see this, go make your own airport stop hijacking mine!

I encourager you not to support his releases. I do feel very annoyed that my work is being used for profit by someone else who has no respect for what I said on the subject.

I will now be introducing a texture name scrambler to insure Stantex does NOT work, same applies to Mantex. If you buy them, your wasting your money.

Gary, just delete the 'Blue scenery' (UK2000 Extras) board - You said it would be closed on the 1st June, it's now the 13th July!

Simmarket has now removed this product

I really hoped it would not have to come to this. I made my feelings very clear to Dave that I did not like Mantex3, it caused me all sorts of support problems, and there were far too many unhappy customers(I know because they talked to me) and this bad feedback was reflecting on me, Mantex would have to be last one. I let him know that I dont want any more of these texture remake products(by Forum and email). I thought he got the message loud and clearly, but I guess not.

I have to put foot down now, it's not really something I like doing but it has to stop and the polite method has not worked. I hope I don't have to take another step.

I'll let them know that it does not have my permission or co-operation and that it will not work in future. Its then up to them to decide.

Unfortunately FSPilotshop are happy to keep selling Stantex, knowing it will not work when I change the textures for the base product. That tells me a lot about the FSPilotshop consideration to its customers.

There is also be big question over Dave's use of the Getmapping 2004 Stansted image (parts of it )

I paid several hundreds of pounds for my Base image from Geo-information group. I cant say if Dave has a commercial licence for the base image he used, I leave that for the readers to guess.

I was quite suprised to see this on sale at Simmarket the other day, knowing full well I had seen a post on here several months ago where Gary had clearly stated that Stansted was not to be done and Dave acknowledging this.

Quite odd in my opinion, lets all pay £8 for some textures and no doubt aerial imagery that hasn't been paid for (Fail to see how he'd make a return on that to be honest, if he did)
