Can someone give me a list of the active gates in Heathrow Extreme version 2.15  FSX . please
Also are there any with marshalls ?
I find the readme only covers FS9 on this subject.
Can not see if this has already been covered in the forum,

Thanks

The gates are the same as in the FS9 manual.

Hi, just installed Heathrow v2.  Is it correct that only some of the jetways work using Ctrl + J?

Using Concorde at its usual parking stand 421 at T4, the jetway would not extend.  Same at stand 418 and others at T4.

When parked at T5 however, the jetways work!  Is this normal and is there a way to get the jetways to move at T4?

Thanks Smiley

Well, that's a difficult one to understand, Jason, as all the jetways operate in the same way, it is only the textures that are changed. Can you give a bit more detail? Is this for the xGEN or the xTRM AFD file, and is it every gate at T4 where you have a problem? Also, which Concorde model are you using?

Hi Norman

I have both egll_afx_UK2xTRM and egll_afxUK2xGEN installed in the UK2000 scenery\UK2000 Heathrow Xtreme\scenery folder.  Should I only use one of them?  What's the difference between the files?

Yes I cannot get a jetway to work at any of the T4 parking stands (I tried at least 5 or 6) but can get a jetway to my Concorde over at T5.

I'm using Libardo Guzman's freeware 2011 Concorde available on flightsim.com.

I'm a bit baffled!  Huh

OK, Jason, you should not have both those files in your scenery folder, although I rather doubt that that is the cause of your problem. The xTRM file has designated parking the xGEN file has generic parking and spaces for the static models. Remove the file that you do not want.

I have the FS Labs Concorde, but I will download the one you have and see what happens.

Well, Jason, I have had a look now and I cannot find anything wrong with the jetways. Perhaps it is because you have both of the AFD files in your scenry folder.

Thanks Norman

I still can't get it to work?  I deleted UK2xTRM and kept UK2xGEN.   T5 works, nothing on T4 nor next to static A380 at T3

Here is the list of files in my Heathrow/scenery folder - can you spot anything a miss?

Nice picture by the way!  Wink

I might do a full FSX reinstall as I can't work it out.

I uninstalled Heathrow version 2 and tested the default Heathrow.  Again the default gates don't work at T4 but they do at all the other terminals?

I've searched for conflicting AFCAds but found nothing.

Something very strange happening!

Well, that confirms that it is something on your system. It doesn't necessarily have to be an AFCAD; other programs also affect the operation of jetways etc. Do you have any programs, such as AES, GSM, Ultimate Terrain or similar?

I installed FSX on my girlfriend's laptop and EGLLv2 and all of the gates worked fine so there's definitely a bug on mine.

I uninstalled AES some time ago but there's obviously some conflict somewhere so will do a full reinstall on mine.

Thanks for your help Norman.

Hi Jason,

You should have a look first to see if AES completely unistalled. There are software products that you can use to investigate if remnants of files are left behind. One I have used is called Revo Uninstaller.

Thanks Norman. Did a clean install and all working well.  Nice to have a clear out of old sceneries and files sometimes Smiley

All gates work using Ctrl+J.  No AES installed, using GSX now, although the pushback route at Gate 421 goes left and right all over the place rather than a nice single turn that used to happen at the same gate in EGLL V1.
