Should i be able to see sutton bank in my list of airfields when choosing to start a flight? I want to start from this field with a glider but although it's in my scenery library their isn't a entry for it in my airports. How can i start a flight from this airfield.

You should see it on your create a flight screen. If it doesn't show, I would first check that you have installed it correctly and then if still no joy download and install it again.

The manual says the airfield is listed under code EG3X, so enter that in the Goto airport system

That works Gary, it shows up as in the UK Region s you would expect, but if i look up the uk region and look in the list of cities it isn't there.
I have uninstalled it and reinstalled again with the same effect, I purchased VFR scenery for Northern England at the same time and installed that, i have tried moving that below sutton bank and still no joy. Not a big problem now i can find it with your suggestion, it just bugs me how things are inexplicable. For instance my Emley Moor scenery dissapeared and no matter what I try it still doesn't show up, I've tried every suggestion to no avail, but I'm wating for a new PC coming next week with 3 moniters and a massive spec. so with a new installation these problems may dissapear, (hopefully)
Regards.

You should find Sutton Bank listed under airports, the City will be Thirsk which is the nearest town.
