A screenshot from a Multiplayer session last night: I have absolutely no idea what caused this unless there was an ad hoc rallycross event, but in single player this morning the road traffic has gone. Dave.

Will do Gary, although it does seem to have been a one-off.
In multiplayer with the VFR Flyers we often encounter strange sights, but this was a first!
Dave.

So I reinstalled the airport and started a multiplayer session tonight at Newcastle - the cars were back!
I left multiplayer, started a solo session, and they were there too. I started another multiplayer session and they were still there - I was the only person to see them.
Is there an easy way to identify where they are coming from?
Dave.

There is no easy way, vector files are impenetrable. The only way is divide and conquer George ps. You could tip 0501\cvx4712.bgl into TmfViewer, zoom-in to EGNT then search all of your active scenery folders and copy all cvx files on top.

Dave and I spent some time together last night to once again see if we could find the reason for the traffic appearing. I could also see them, but only if approaching Newcastle from the north. After a lot of trial and error we think that we have found the answer. In the scenery\world\scenery folder we found a file called traffic_egn txxx_fsx. On removing that file the traffic on the airport had disappeared. On re-installing that file the traffic was back again. We have no idea where the file comes from, it certainly isn't in any UK2000 scenery, but if you have problems with traffic on the runway at EGNT then look to see if you have that file in your scenery\world\scenery folder.
Whilst checking this out we also found that the same file was causing an un-textured jetway to be placed at stand 9. Removing the file removed that jetway and restored the UK2000 one. However, whilst we were doing this I saw that there were two static jetways missing from the EGNT_afx_UK2xGEN file, they must have been missed when I did the last update. I have, therefore uploaded the Newcastle Xtreme for FSX zip file to the AFCAD library with the corrected GEN file in it. Only the GEN file for FSX is affected.

Is it from MyTrafficX? No, George, it's not from there. Dave.
