Hi all.

As per Gary's post HERE, please find attached updated AFCADs for FSX and P3D which add the cul-de-sac taxiway for Stands 22-25 at Bristol.  For those with GSX, this will allow you to push back into the cul-de-sac rather than all the way out onto Taxiway Z as per real world (VATSim pilots should be given this instruction a standard).  Details of the push directions are listed in the Bristol AIP as follows:

Quote
Stands 22 and 23 are nose in/push back stands. The routine push back for these stands is into the cul-de-sac to face east.

Stands 24, 25 and 26S* are nose in/push back stands. The routine push back for these stands is into the cul-de-sac to face west.

*Note Stand 26S is not yet modelled in the scenery and won't be until v4.

Any problems, please post below.

* GSX-EGGD_cul-de-sac_AFCAD-FSX.zip (7.46 KB - downloaded 24 times.)
* GSX-EGGD_cul-de-sac_AFCAD-P3D.zip (7.31 KB - downloaded 23 times.)

No problem Nick.

CAVEAT:  As I fly exclusively online, I only use AI packs for model matching purposes so I've not tested this change with any "flying" AI traffic packs.

Just to complicate things even further!

Stand 26S and W1 are both contingency stands for the summer operation at BRS.

If stand 26S is in use, Stand 26 is unable to push back.

If stand 26S is in use, Stands 29 and 29R are no longer taxi through stands and revert to pushback only.

Stands 22-25 can operate simultaneous pushbacks, whereby one goes in to the cul-de-sac and one goes directly on to the taxiway (the only restriction is if the aircraft are on adjacent stands).

Stand 26R has also been introduced recently - this will be for the summer 787 operation this year (and for any other Code E aircraft that are expected such as the BH Holidays A330 during 2016).

3 new stands are currently under construction - likely to be Stands 37, 38 and 39.
