Pardon me if this is a stupid question, but whilst I've been flight simming for some time adding various scenery, airports and utilities. It's only now I'm starting to look at how all of these work (or not Roll Eyes) together.

I've recently jumped over to P3dv4 and have installed all the current (as of today) files.

I have the following: -
Various UK2000 airports

Orbx Regions England,Scotland, Wales and Ireland
ORBX Global Base
ORBX Vector
ORBX Open LC Europe

From the utilities point of view I have.
GSX and Ultimate traffic Live

If you've managed to stay with me so far my question is which AFCAD file should be the one that is being used?

I'm sure I read somewhere that each of the addons above will have their own AFCAD files for these airports. so how do I determine which one is in use or should be used.

Of course I could quite easily be talking out of my backside. It has been known!

Over to the brains then.

You don't need to worry about installing separate AFCAD files. The Product includes the latest file and is always complete and functioning without any separate download.

The AFCAD is a layout of the airport that AI aircraft and ATC uses, we have 2 files with the product one is used when you select 'Use Static Aircraft' the other is used when you dont.  Its all automatic via the options program

Thanks Gary,

I was thinking more about what AFCAD GSX uses. unless I misread GSX installs an AFCAD as well?

GXS will use the one active at the time. You dont use a seperate AFCAD for GSX
