Gary, you replied to one of my posts in June last year regarding having a look at the benefits of SODE when you had more time, I was just wondering if you have had a chance to look into SODE at all? Looking forward to the release of EGCC.

Steve.

No sorry, I never got any further with it.

The big problem is  the SDK is developered for users of 3DMax or Gmax. I dont use either.  I use Anim8or for all my work plus home made programs. So that puts me in a position of learning how to use those program which would take a very long time, before I can even consider implementing SODE.

However I'm still very temped by it, and I may consider taking a few months out of airport production to learn.

I see Belfast City is moved down the list again Sad Disappointed .. I thought withover 2.6 million Passengers and airlines like BA,Aer Lingus,Flybe,KLM,citwings and Icelandic air , this would be a better commercial proposition than some other airports on the list! But at the same time thankful that you do so much in the UK and hope Belfast doesn't get move down the list anymore 😋

Hi Joe, wasn't aware the EGAC had been moved down the list  Cry. I
know it seems quite a while since it was first announced on the site.

Gary,if it has been put back, was there a reason for this?

Cheers,
Paul.

Hi Gary, Does this mean that Belfast City will be at the bottom of the "to do list"?  Is there an issue getting the image?. I have been a great supporter of you of a long number of years but I must say I'm disappointed that Northern Ireland always seems to be last! Take Belfast International hasn't been updated since release in 2009 nearly 8 years ago!. Well I hope you do get a image soon :/

My own problem with Northern Ireland would be the lack of decent photoscenery. A UK2000 Belfast City Xtreme would be very welcome, but having to endure ORBx FTX Northern Ireland generic city textures around it would be difficult. I can live with the more rural landscape surrounding UK2000 Belfast Aldergrove Xtreme, although I agree that it would also be nice to have an updated version of this airport. Nevertheless, Gary has a huge number of airports (including remakes of existing ones) still to do, and I am just glad that we have him! Can you imagine what the UK airport scene would be like without UK2000? Shocked

My own thoughts on this matter are that a new version of Aldergrove Xtreme could be included with Belfast City Xtreme as a sort of double pack, but that is just wishful thinking Grin However, a decent photoscenery package for Northern Ireland is way overdue, and really should have been sorted out by one of the current photoscenery developers. The MegaScenery Earth version of Northern Ireland is rubbish, so that doesn't count.
