I have recently migrated across to the Steam version of FSX (FSX:SE) and I am aware that the SDK is not like the 'old' version that came with the disks.

I still have the FSX Deluxe Edition, which has the full SDK, and my question is can it be installed into the Steam version?

If it can which parts, or all of it, do I add?

I would like to learn to use the Scruffy Duck ADE and amend some of my freeware add-on air bases.  I won't touch my payware - not brave enough.

Thank you in advance.

The SDK does not get installed into steam or FSX, it is a separate set of tools. Unless you going to make any simconnect module, you can use any FSX SDK  for ADE.

Thank you very much for the information.  This pretty new ground for me and I wasn't sure what was required.
